HSM6
Embedded hardware wallet protects hundreds of cryptographic keys
HSM6 is a legacy product. It remains documented and supported, but new
designs should use a current product.

- HSM6 (legacy) — hardware, installation, and integration
Common tasks
- Detect physical tampering (Wiring differs per product. The shared SEN page still needs SEN 400 and SEN 500 connections.)
- Lock a device for production (Binding is permanent and cannot be reversed.)
- Encrypt the root filesystem (The process is the same on each of these modules.)
- Encrypt sensor data on disk (The process is the same on each of these modules.)
- Connect to AWS IoT
- Use the hardware wallet (Wallet support is not available on Zymkey4 or HSM4.)
- Free up GPIO4 (All of these use GPIO4 as the I2C handshake. The software change is identical; the wiring diagram shows Zymkey4.)
